Biography

Keith is a Senior Executive who started working life in Banking, moving into the off-shore Oil Industry before developing his long-term career in Retail and Wholesale with some of the UK`s largest and most successful PLC, private equity backed and family owned businesses.

Keith has worked for blue chip companies such as National Westminster Bank, Foster Wheeler, NISA, Spar, Tesco, Sainsbury`s and Conviviality PLC. A Company Director since 1996, his work has covered many disciplines including Buying, Marketing and Operations as well project managing significant change programmes.

His most recent corporate experience involved, as MD, devising the strategic pivot which delivered the step-change in performance and potential that resulted in one of the UK`s largest retail franchises -Bargain Booze – floating on the stock market as Conviviality Retail PLC. The offer was nearly twice oversubscribed and attracted major institutional support. Following the float Keith led the purchase, and integration, of the Wine Rack and Rhythm & Booze chains into Conviviality.

Keith now wishes to use his experience to assist small and medium enterprise (SME`s) company owners achieve their dreams by improving their businesses and lives, for both personal and financial gain.

Married with one daughter, Keith has lived near Chester since 2002. He is a Governor of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and was elected into the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in 2001 in recognition of his achievements in the retail and wholesale industries.

Keith enjoys most sports and is a keen supporter of Hull City, having been a triallist in his youth. Always keen for a game he achieved an ambition in 2011 by playing at Wembley in a trade competition. He has also completed 3 marathons – London, Paris and New York- and continues to keep fit by active participation in his local running club.
