What our Clients say about ICON...

Quote from Lee Alley - “Despite having an MBA, I found Tony’s practical experienced advice was absolutely spot on. As a result I now work only 50 -60 hours a week rather than the 80-90 previously and I am working much more effectively and spending 25% of my time working ON The Business. I would thoroughly recommend Tony to any Business Owner who wants to change the way he/she works in their business.”

Malcolm Orchard...

Malcolm worked in the corporate world in his early career quickly becoming a successful branch manager for a major national trade and wholesale company at the age of 25.

Malcolm continued his career in the corporate world until the late 1980s when he bought into a small information technology company which he grew from £200k turnover to £800k during the volatile recession period of the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. During that period he negotiated and secured contracts with blue chip companies such as BT, Warner Music, Racal and Travelex. The company was subsequently sold to one of the major players within the information technology sector.

Malcolm continued to work within the information technology arena at senior management and board level for a number of years building and selling one company and securing some very prestigious multi million pound contracts with clients such as H M Land Registry, Bibliotheque Nationale de France (French National Library), Royal Mail and Virgin Atlantic amongst others.

Latterly he has run his own business as well as working as a business consultant and business development director for two leading information technology companies.

During his career Malcolm has engaged with all business disciplines such as Sales and Marketing, HR, operations and finance and has a clear understanding of how these business areas need to work in harmony to ensure the business objectives are achieved.

Malcolm brings a wealth of experience and passion having dealt with numerous business challenges in running both his own businesses and working in the corporate world. He has lived through the ecstasy and agony of start-up ventures as well as understanding the pressures and culture of the corporate world.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the seminar and found it incredibly informative.
In fact I did something today that I have never done before.  I’d gone back to a client with yet another quote (he kept changing his mind about the spec and was clearly talking to another broker) and I actually asked him for the order – and got it!!  I felt very proud of myself”. Julie Morris

“You probably have no idea how much you may have helped me already, it was a great course, thank you. We shall chat it over a beer sometime, and yes, we must fight the good fight”. Simon Speed

‘’I would like to say a big thank you for inviting me to the business growth seminar.
It was extremely helpful for CVC and it gave us the opportunity to sit down and think about where the business is and where we would like it to go. Using the simple steps that you explained at the seminar we were able to look at the business and see how we can use these strategies to grow our business and take it to the next level.
This is one of the most  productive seminars I have attended and I would not hesitate to recommend Malcolm to my friends, family and business associates who are looking to grow their business’’ Katherine Thompson
